Nanoleaf Elements Wood Look Hexagon Expansion Pack
The Nanoleaf Elements Wood Look Hexagon Expansion Pack adds three indoor smart wall-light panels in a wood-look finish. Each hexagon is 20 cm high and 23 cm wide, and the pack includes mounting hardware but no controller or power supply—the sort of detail that can turn wall decor into admin.

One-line verdict
These wood-look smart wall lights make a pleasantly geometric living-room statement, provided you already have the controller-and-power-supply part of the lighting plot.
Best for
Existing Nanoleaf Elements owners building out indoor living-room wall decor with three additional wood-look panels.

Skip it if you need a complete, ready-to-power smart-light setup rather than an expansion pack with a small but important shopping-list footnote.
The full picture
There is a particular stage of adult home decorating where a bare living-room wall starts to feel less “minimal” and more “we moved in six months ago and then got distracted by laundry.” Nanoleaf Elements Wood Look Hexagons tackle that gap with illuminated geometric panels that borrow their visual cue from wood rather than a gaming rig.
This particular pack is not a fresh start. It contains three additional hexagons, plus mounting plates, mounting tape, and rigid linkers, while the controller and power supply are conspicuously absent. We appreciate the honesty of an expansion pack that does not pretend it is a complete system; we appreciate rather less the moment someone discovers that after clearing a wall and locating a level.
Each panel measures 20 cm high and 23 cm wide, so this is decor with actual dimensions to consider, not a tiny gadget one can hide behind a plant. The panels are made for indoor mounting with the included double-sided tape, or with screw mounts if you supply the screws and wall anchors. Rental-wall diplomacy may therefore require a little more thought than “hexagons look nice here.”
The useful bit is ecosystem compatibility: Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home, IFTTT, and SmartThings are all supported. We picked this as a practical way to extend an existing Elements arrangement for people who want their smart-home decor to look slightly less like it was designed during a fluorescent drink launch.
The Irresistible
- The wood-look hexagon design offers a decorative alternative to the usual overtly futuristic smart-wall-light aesthetic.
- Three additional panels and rigid linkers make this a clear, contained way to extend an existing Nanoleaf Elements layout.
The Clever Part
- Compatible with Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, IFTTT, and SmartThings.
- Designed for indoor installation using the included double-sided mounting tape or screw mounts.
- At 20 cm high by 23 cm wide per panel, the dimensions are available before the inevitable tape-measure ceremony begins.
- The supplied listing specifies dimming, music sync, and ambient-white lighting from 1500–4000 K.
The Fine Print
- Screws and wall anchors are not included, despite screw mounting being an installation option.
- The 1 cm mounted thickness is worth factoring into a layout planned for a very flat, very tidy wall.
The Reality Check
- No controller or power supply is included, so this three-panel pack is not a standalone Nanoleaf Elements lighting setup.
